Yesterday was unforgettable at Parkview Elementary! The one and only Rumble – the Oklahoma City Thunder mascot – made a surprise visit and brought the ENERGY!
The students had a blast as Rumble high-fived, danced, and got the students pumped up with Thunder spirit! Rumble even took the time to hang out with the kids, snap some fun pics, and spread tons of smiles!
Big thanks to Rumble for visiting with our students and making this day one to remember!
Baseball game today at Stroud has a new 4:30 start time, thank you!
Stroud Public Schools is excited to announce that additional new playground equipment will be installed in both the north and south Parkview Elementary School playgrounds! The expected date of completion will be during the mid-summer time frame. Here are a few items that you can look forward to!

These new additions/upgrades will create a fun, safe, and interactive space for all our students to enjoy for years to come!

Stroud High School Senior, Brance Wells, was chosen as one of the top five students to be featured in this year’s State FFA Convention Pre-Session Video Series. In addition to the State FFA Convention, the video will also be shown on RFD-TV and several media outlets. It will highlight the significant key points within Brance’s FFA journey. Congratulations Brance!
Mr. Bailey’s Physical Science students just wrapped up an exciting project that combined creativity, teamwork, and some engineering know-how! After learning all about simple machines, mechanical advantage, and levers, the class was challenged to design and build their very own catapults! It was incredible to see the innovative designs and problem-solving skills on display. From trial and error to celebration-worthy launches, every student gave it their all. Big shoutout to Mr. Bailey for guiding and inspiring the class through this hands-on learning experience.
Mrs. Chace's Zoology Class visited the Oklahoma Aquarium this week. They were able to apply the learning that they have done in the classroom, while at the aquarium. The Zoology Class begins learning about the most basic animals (Phylum Porifera) at the beginning of the school year, and are currently studying fish. They were able to watch the concepts come to life with the organisms they were able to see and touch. The class also had the privilege of taking a tour behind the scenes! They were able to learn about the sea turtle, coral reef, & shark exhibits, as well as feeding the animals, and conservation of sea life!
Congratulations to the Stroud Middle School Powerlifting Team! Gage Bailey, Cole Bernal, Cale Haines, Gavin Morris, and Gideon Smalley qualified for State! Great job Tigers!!
Congratulations to Tegan Fine, a Junior at Stroud High School, for winning 1st place in the Financial Analyst Team Competition at the BPA State Leadership Conference in Tulsa this week! Best of luck as you head to Nationals in Orlando, Florida in May! It's a GREAT Day to be a TIGER!
Stroud Public School's Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for next Thursday, March 13th from 3:30pm - 7:30pm and Friday, March 14th from 8am - 12pm.
There will be no school on Friday, March 14th. Spring Break is scheduled for March 17th-21st.

The HS Softball game against Wellston on Thursday, March 6th has been cancelled and replaced with two Varsity games against Asher/Vanoss at Asher.
Game (1) will start at 5:45pm
