A Stroud Middle School student has verbalized a threat involving a weapon regarding Stroud Middle School today. The student apparently had no weapon in possession at school. The student is not present at school at this time. The Stroud Police Department is notified and investigating. We have no evidence that any student or staff member has been in any danger as related to the comments or any actions by the student.

After being greeted with a little Tiger Pride this morning, our faculty and staff were treated to a wonderful breakfast provided by the Stroud Public School Foundation, followed by lunch provided by First Bank and Trust. Thank you for helping us welcome our faculty and staff back. We have a few days of meetings, prep and planning! 🎶 The Spirit of Stroud Marching Band finished their Tiger Pride Week today! They had a packed schedule of full days, hard work, new challenges, and plenty of Tiger spirit as our band members came together to prepare for the upcoming season! They welcomed several newcomers to the band this year, and they jumped right in alongside our returning members! Throughout the week, students spent all day learning and preparing their halftime show, working on marching fundamentals, and learning their new music. The meeting will start at 6:30pm and we will have a short practice following the meeting. We will go over our season, including practice times, meet schedule and any necessary paperwork.
