Mrs. Martin’s 7th and 8th grade English students completed a Cereal Box Book Report project where they recycled cereal boxes and transformed them into creative displays of the books they’ve read. Each panel was used to share details about the plot, characters, and setting, making reading come to life in a hands-on way.
We loved seeing the creativity, effort, and learning packed into every box!

🚂 All Aboard the Polar Express! Our Parkview PreK students had a magical Polar Express experience this week! They traveled to the high school to watch The Polar Express in the Performing Arts Center, where the excitement began the moment they arrived. They were greeted by the conductor himself, played by our very own Athletic Director, Jim Campbell, who did an amazing job welcoming the students and punching their tickets for the journey!
After the movie, our National Honor Society students hosted a special reception, complete with beautifully decorated tables, hot chocolate, and cookies! To tie in the event, we played the “Hot Chocolate” song for the students to sing along to as well! Each student also went home with a bell to remind them to always believe.

🎶 What a wonderful evening celebrating the Music of Christmas with our Middle School and High School Band and Choir! From festive favorites like “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” to powerful pieces such as “First Holiday Fanfare” and “Carol of the Bells,” our students truly captured the spirit of the season through music for our community!
A special highlight of the night was a surprise reading of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” by our Superintendent, Joe VanTuyl, beautifully brought to life as the High School Band played alongside the story. It was a memorable moment that made the evening even more magical.
We are so proud of our musical Tigers and grateful to our directors, Kevin Couch and Leslie Anderson, for all of the the hard work that went into making the perfect program to end the semester!

📚Ms. Ronnie’s Stroud High School class recently wrapped up their study of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley with a creative “Monster Bash” presentation. Students showcased their own original creatures, complete with stories, predicted endings, and imagined outcomes inspired by the novel. Faculty, staff, and students were invited to stop by as guests while students proudly presented their projects and shared their creative process. The event was a fun and engaging way for students to bring literature to life!

🎨Mrs. Martin’s students recently had the opportunity to take their study of art outside of the classroom and into the inspiring galleries of the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa! They explored the beautiful works of art and experienced the museum’s stunning architecture and gardens! This hands-on experience gave them a deeper appreciation for artistic expression and sparked new ideas that they could bring back to their own artwork in the classroom! Within the past few weeks, they have been learning all about ceramics and creating their own masterpieces!
