🎉 We would like to recognize and thank our outstanding Stroud School Foundation Teacher of the Year nominees! Tina Livingstone, Brittni Foster and Megan Pearman. Each of these educators were nominated because they make a difference in the lives of students everyday.
Mrs. Livingstone is the Art Teacher at Parkview Elementary. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University and a master’s degree in Reading from Northeastern State University.
Ms. Foster teaches 7th Grade Math and 7th Grade Pre-Algebra at Stroud Middle School. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, with an emphasis in Secondary Education, and a minor in Coaching Science.
Mrs. Pearman teaches Kindergarten at Parkview Elementary. She earned an Associate of Science degree in Child Development from Seminole State College in 2011, a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern State University in 2013, and a master’s degree in Library Media and Technology from Northeastern State University in 2026.
Congratulations!

🎉 Please join us in congratulating Whitney McDoulett on being named the Stroud School Foundation Teacher of the Year!
This recognition celebrates outstanding dedication to students, excellence in education, and the positive impact she has made in our school community each day!
Mrs. McDoulett has been a teacher at Stroud High School for 15 years. She obtained this position after graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science for Education. Over the years, Whitney has held several responsibilities at Stroud High School, but her favorite duty has always been teaching English. Whitney teaches Senior English, AP Junior English, and Pre-AP Sophomore English, as well as Mythology and Creative Writing.
She has high expectations for her students. However, this has paid off because several of her students have passed the rigorous AP English tests, as well as their Composition courses in college. Through all of her requirements, one thing stands out, concern for the well being of her students. She supports them by her willingness to listen and give advice to help solve their problems. Many students even come back after graduation to see Mrs. McDoulett and let her know how they are doing. This is why she often ends her classes by saying, “Make good choices”. That one comment sums up her heart and love for each of her students, past and present.
Congratulations, Mrs. McDoulett!

💦🍧🥇Parkview had their end of year Field Days last week! The PreK students enjoyed a fun Water Day with bounce houses, water slides, outdoor games, and sno cones to help beat the heat. While the weather forced our older grades to move activities indoors, our staff and students made the best of it! They had eraser races, ball throws, kick ball, and regular racing! The best event was the staff inflatable costume races! 💙It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!💙

The Bus #14 route (Ms. Mendenhall) will be slightly delayed this afternoon. Thank you for your patience.
We have information confirming the passing of one of our High School students this morning. We are saddened by this information as we know our entire community is. Our school has made arrangements for additional licensed counselors on site today for our students and staff as needed. Our deepest condolences are extended to the family.
Due to possible inclement weather, we will not be able to do our field day events at the track for grades 1-5 tomorrow, May 19th. The specials teachers will be doing events in the gym throughout the morning starting with 5th grade at 8:15 and ending with 1st grade.
