💙It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!💙

Today we celebrated the retirement of one of our staff members, Linda Waller.
For years, Linda has done so much more than serve meals in our cafeteria, she shows students kindness, warmth, and a smile each day. We are so grateful for her years of dedication, friendship, and service to Stroud Public Schools.
Please join us in congratulating Linda Waller on her retirement and we wish her many wonderful adventures in the future.

The Bus #14 route (Ms. Mendenhall) will be slightly delayed this afternoon. Thank you for your patience.
We have information confirming the passing of one of our High School students this morning. We are saddened by this information as we know our entire community is. Our school has made arrangements for additional licensed counselors on site today for our students and staff as needed. Our deepest condolences are extended to the family.
Due to possible inclement weather, we will not be able to do our field day events at the track for grades 1-5 tomorrow, May 19th. The specials teachers will be doing events in the gym throughout the morning starting with 5th grade at 8:15 and ending with 1st grade. Mrs. McDoulett’s Senior English classes competed in the whimsical, challenging, and creative Poetry Island this semester. Individually or in groups they worked with a poet and their poetry through Mood Music, Frozen Tableau, Artistic Interpretation, and Drama to see who could analyze, connect, and interpret the poetry in the most creative presentation. Here are a few examples of their Art Projects!
💙It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!💙

Mrs. Martinez's Freshman English class are seen hard at work designing Character Body Biography projects over characters from “The Odyssey.” Students have spent the past several weeks reading Homer’s “The Odyssey” and learning about Greek Mythology. Once the group projects were complete, students presented their posters to their peers! 💙It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!💙
