🏈 OSSAA has officially announced that our Week 2 Semifinal Game will be held in Ponca City on Friday, December 5th at 7:00pm! Our Stroud Tigers will take on Adair as they continue their incredible playoff run. Last week, our Parkview 5th grade students dove into the magic of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade! They explored its history, parade route, and even how those iconic giant balloons are created! They put their creativity to work by designing, drawing, and building their very own parade balloons. Once complete, they proudly showcased their creations to the younger classes with a parade down the hallway, and it was a HUGE hit! They also had some very special guests join the celebration, The Grinch and Santa, played by amazing volunteers from the Parkview PTO group! Thank you to our creative 5th grade students, staff, and Parkview PTO for bringing so much joy and Thanksgiving spirit to Parkview Elementary! 🍁It’s a GREAT day to be a TIGER!🍁

🎭SpongeBob the Musical! Tonight is opening night! Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 7:00pm. Adult tickets are $5 dollars, and student/ child tickets are $3 dollars! Come out and support these amazing theater students as they shine on stage! 💛It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!💛

This week, our Superintendent spent time at Parkview Elementary sharing the joy of reading with our third graders. Students loved listening to the story and having the opportunity to connect with a district leader in such a meaningful way. We appreciate his commitment to our schools and his dedication to fostering a love of reading in our students.

Stroud Fire Dept. is providing Thanksgiving meals for anyone that may need them for their family. Meals can be picked up at the First Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 25th. Meals will be hot and ready for pickup.

Stroud High School’s Art Department is showcasing some incredible creativity this week! Mrs. Martin’s Art and AP 3D Art & Design students were given the exciting opportunity to display their Dale Chihuly inspired macchia sculptures around the entrance of the Performing Arts Center for this weekend’s Sponge Bob Musical. Their vibrant, colorful pieces bring an extra touch of artistry and energy to the event! In the classroom, students have also been exploring the world of cyanotypes (sun prints). They collected natural materials from outdoors and arranged them on fabric treated with a UV reactive dye. When exposed to sunlight, the process created striking negative images! They were beautiful examples of both creativity and scientific curiosity. Checkout out some of their artwork this weekend! 🎨It’s a GREAT day to be a TIGER!🎨

Over the past few weeks the Stroud Football Team has been hosting a Turkey/Jersey Swap to collect turkey donations for local families. Thanks to the incredible support from our community, the team has collected 64 turkeys so far! Each turkey was donated directly to the Stroud Food Pantry to help make the holiday season brighter for those in need. The team spent the evening helping at the pantry after practice. 🔷It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!🔷

Last week, Mrs. Vickrey and Mrs. Young took their HS and MS Alternative Education classes on an enriching trip to the Philbrook Museum in Tulsa. Students explored a wide range of art, history, and culture while experiencing the museum’s beautiful galleries and gardens! 💙It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!💙

Stroud FFA had a strong showing at the Oklahoma Connors State College Quiz Bowl Contest! The Freshmen Team placed as the 3rd Highest Team over all and our Animal Science Team placed in the Top Ten of the teams! Congratulations to our students and their advisors on an outstanding performance! 💙It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!💙

Congratulations to FFA member, Wyatt West who finished as the Reserve Champion Trap Shooter at the Oklahoma Youth Expo Trap Shoot! Wyatt advanced to state and placed THIRD OVERALL! 🔷It's a GREAT day to be a TIGER!🔷
