REMINDER: The Lincoln County Health Department will be conducting school physicals for all Stroud athletes and band members tomorrow, Tuesday, May 20th, starting at 9:00AM at the Rt. 66 Coliseum. *All required consent forms and paperwork MUST be completed and signed prior to receiving a physical. Have your student bring their signed copy with them on Tuesday.* Please see the link below to view and print the forms. Hard copies will be available at the High School and Middle School main office. Current 5th graders (incoming 6th graders) will receive physical packets to take home Physical/Consent Forms: https://5il.co/3exvf

Parkview Elementary had their end of the year Field Day this week! From the fast paced 50 meter dash to the entertaining eraser race, our young athletes gave it their all in the ball throw, ball kick as well as the long jump! The fun kicked off with a surprise race featuring some of our brave and competitive faculty members! Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and students for making the day so memorable.

The 2025 Baccalaureate service will be held this Sunday, May 18th at 7pm at the Stroud High School Performing Arts Center! 🎓

5th Grade Rocket Day!! Parkview Elementary had a representative from the Lincoln County Extension office come and extend them a challenge based on a lesson in balance, stabilization, construction and “fuel”. The students used 2 liter pop bottles , 1/2 of a Manila file folder, duct tape, sand and water. They launched from a small platform with the bottle inverted and injected with a specified psi of air. The challenge was set in a single elimination tournament with class bragging rights on the line! On Monday, our talented middle school and high school choir students performed their Spring Concert! Congratulations to Addisyn Neeley, who was crowned Choir Queen, and Dawson Szot, who was crowned Choir King! Thank you to everyone who came out to support these incredible performers!

Stroud FFA attended the Oklahoma State FFA Convention this week! Here are few highlights! 2 State Chorus Members 2 State Champion Proficiency Winners 1 State Proficiency 3rd Place 3 State Degree Recipients Model of Excellence Finalist 3 Star National and Oklahoma Chapter 1 Nominating Committee Member Central Area Star in Agribusiness 1 Honorary State FFA Degree 🥇STATE CHAMPION BAILEY FAIRES Small Animal Care Proficiency Award Winner 🥇 STATE CHAMPION BRANCE WELLS Turf Grass Management Proficiency Award Winner 🥉THIRD PLACE WYATT DULANEY Agricultural Processing Proficiency Award Jenna Fine announced “The Middle” and then her and Audrey Chace performed with the Chorus for the House and Senate in OKC. Brance Wells was showcased in a “Dear FFA” video in front of 26,000 Oklahoma FFA Members! Bailey Faires was recognized as the Central Area Star in Agribusiness! FFA Instructor, Jason Berna, earned his Honorary State FFA Degree! It’s a GREAT Day to be a STROUD FFA TIGER! 🐅

5/9/2025 - REMINDER: No School Today!

Softball is headed to STATE today! There will be a send off at 11am! Please see the following information below regarding the Firelake Softball Park: Lawn chairs are allowed. There is no clear bag policy. No sunflower seeds or any shell seeds are allowed. Gates open at 9 a.m. The wifi signal is not very strong. Please pull up your GoFan tickets on your phones before you get to the gate, that will speed up the gate process. There are several construction zones on I-40 as you get close to your exit. If you are coming in from the west (going east on I-40), you might want to exit on HWY 102 going south. Then turn left on Hardesty Road, which will take you to the fields. This will help you avoid the construction zones.

BASEBALL SCHEDULE UPDATE - The Regional Baseball game time tomorrow (5/8/25) in Latta has been pushed back. Stroud should play against Watonga around 4 to 4:30pm.

If you have a child that will be 4 years old by September 1st, join us Thursday evening from 4:00pm-6:00pm to meet the PreK Teachers, learn more about the program and tour the PreK Center!
