Stroud High School represents the essence of educational excellence in mid-state Oklahoma. Our students produce high quality results in their academic and extracurricular pursuits on a regular basis. Those students are instructed by talented leaders who understand the components of successful programs and convey those components to their students for productive ends. Motivated students being nurtured in an environment rich in experienced and accomplished education professionals is the formula Stroud High School utilizes as a mode of operation. We aspire to expand the abilities of each of our individuals to their fullest extent.
Our school has produced Championship performances by teams and individuals throughout its storied history. Stroud High School Alumni maintain that performance from coast to coast in varied careers only people of vision could achieve. Their accomplishments serve as an example to our youth today of what may be attained and specifically what is possible as a Stroud High School graduate. The students of Stroud High School consistently produce winning outcomes in their many pursuits.
Stroud High School is growing each day in its abilities to serve students. Our ACT prep has produced good results for students in increasing ACT scores. Our technology abilities meet or exceed those of other schools as we constantly look for ways to expand our expertise. We recently added a curriculum program intended to assist in our overall academic offerings. As a result, we are in a position to provide a broader range of instructional strategies for our students into the future. Our physical facilities continue to grow with considerable community support. The Richard James Family Foundation provided $25,000 for the completion of a new Science lab at our Heritage Hall Campus. Voters approved a $9.5 million bond issue for the construction of a new multipurpose gymnasium that sits beside the construction of a new futuristic softball complex. Voters have approved a $58 million bond issue for a Pre-K center at Parkview Elementary, upgrades to the High School building for the new Middle School and a new state of the art High School with a projected completion date for the beginning of the 2019-20 school year. Our facilities are regularly evaluated for upgrades throughout our school.
